THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION
The Department of Administration is the nerve centre of Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Institution. It manages the resources of the hospital for the smooth running of all other departments.
Administration is also responsible for establishing standards and putting in place rules, regulation and other procedures for their monitoring and maintenance. The Department delivers these functions through its core staff assisted by working committees namely Management, Contracts, Appointments & Promotions and Medical Advisory Committees just to name a few.
EFSTH has a small administration team which includes:
- Office of Chief Medical Director
- Administration department made up of a Directorate of Administration, Human resources Management, Public Relations Office, Operations Management, IT Unit, Records Management, Procurement, General maintenance and Transport
